Dead Weather, Phoenix, Miike Snow, Muse, MGMT, Guetta, Deadmau5, Avett Brothers, Benassi, Coheed and Cambria, Thom Yorke, on and on and on plus a couple solid Canadian acts in Jets Overhead and Tokyo Police Club.
Decent line up. I can't wait until I'm done school and will be able to take that time of year off & head on down there. Until then I will wait till may & continue going to sasquatch.
To me, personally, it is a great lineup, but then I remembered that Coachella always seems to fall in line with exam week at the University of Calgary and I am now sad as I will be unable to go. I guess I will have to settle with one of Sasquatch or Lollapolloza depending on what the lineups look like.
Coachella always seems to have an awesome lineup, but it's rules and regs don't seem like anything of what a music festival really should be. I mean, you can't even stay on site. Security seems to be so tight you'd have trouble briunging in toe nail clippers, never mind a 40 and a doob (or anything else like that).
Course I've never been, so I could be completely wrong. Actually, tell me if I am, cause I've always thought about giving it a try. Won't be able to go this year, but may go another year.
Man, this would be absolutely unreal to go to...but I think my exams are the following week...the 19th-29th or something like that. So really SuperMatt, it's possible to make it but I doubt it's in either your or my best interests haha.
The thing that really intrigues me is the fact that Thom Yorke has question marks after his name...perhaps Radiohead will make an appearance?
All in all though, an unbelievable lineup.

You are right, the rules there are brutal. As good as that line-up looks i am going to go to Sasquatch. I won't be surprised when i see a great lineup announced for it and it's also the best outdoor vene in NA
Meh. It's been better in previous years. If they're advertising LCD Soundsystem as a headliner, either they're lacking in talent this year or I'm out of the loop on their popularity.
I've gone to both Coachella and Sasquatch, and I usually like Sasquatch more. You can't beat The Gorge, and the acts are usually solid.
That said, Coachella looks great (again) this year, but some of the rumored Sasquatch acts are intense. I'll wait till the official lineup is released in few weeks before deciding. I can only go to one this year.
The only festival I have ever been to was ‘Gathering of the Vibes’ in Red Hook, NY. I only went because I wanted to see Steve Kimock, (one of my guitar heroes), it ended up thunderstorming the whole time – the mud blended with the porta-potty juice and was everywhere, Kimock didn’t even play because of the weather, and I was stuck in a field with a bunch of trust fund hippies who for some reason like to pretend they are gangster. It was overall an epic fail and the last time I will attend a hippie festival. Im making it out to be worse than it was, I actually had fun and there were a few good other bands, Derek trucks, and Buddy Miles (the Band of Gypsies drummer)…Id rather go to see bands one at time though.

Other than Pavement that is confirmed, any other good rumors? I went in 2006 and had an amazing time-would love to do the experience again...
Even if only Arcade Fire goes, I'm in. Anything else would be a bonus for me.
Local Natives said they are playing Sasquatch! during a show this month. I wouldn't be too surprised to see Dead Weather or Them Crooked Vultures either.
