Any DiskWarrior owners in Calgary...
Willing to help a guy out?
After 6 years of daily service my 12" G4 Powerbook has decided to give me some issues.
It is a partitioned 40GB hard drive and I can no longer access any information on the partition I have stored all of my documents on (about 13GB of data).
The startup (system & application) partition is still accessible through Target disk mode.
I was able to copy the File vault disk image (containing all my documents) onto my G5 tower through Target mode but am unable to open it up (even with the proper password).
Disk Utilities has been unable to do a repair, and my online browsing has suggested that DiskWarrior is the best solution out there.
The only thing I am really after on the drive is about 6 years of quicken data, so I don't know if I want to drop $100 on the program.
If anyone has the program installed and is willing to allow me to stop by and attempt a repair I would be most appreciative (and willing to make a financial contribution).
