Jaffray, Shantz named to All-Star teams

Shantz named starting goaltender for the ECHL National Conference All-Star team. This is his second appearance in an All-Star game.

Jaffray will be a member of the Canadian AHL All-Star team. This too is his second appearance in an All-Star game.

I'm disappointed Pelech or Lundmark didn't make it, but oh well.

Not bad for Shantz. Goalies in the ECHL have historically had a better shot of eventually making it to the NHL than ECHL skaters, so to be named an All-Star starter in the ECHL bodes well for Shantz. He's got a good chance to be an AHL player next season.
