Patrick O'Sullivan was given a regular shift as well as Power play time this past week. In 4 games he mananged 0 goals, 0 assists and was -5. He's been a big sack of crap and thats why we traded him.

Another week where all my team sucked, but he sucked hardest.

Sidney Crosby 2G 1A 3PTS +2 - Once again led all Penguin forwards in points. Really improving his game over the last little while.

Chris Pronger 2 A - Solid play in all situations.

Greg Zanon 1A +2 solidifies the 3rd line and PK with solid stay at home play.

Rookie

Ryan O'Byrne 2A 2PTS - Stepped in and provided a physical presence in the absence of the injured Erksine. Added the first two assists in his career.

Tim Connolly - after been out for 3 weeks due to injury, Tim has played 2 games, he has scored 3 goals and 1 assists.

Unsung Hero

Radek Bonk, played 3 games generated 3 A and was +3 on the 4th line (playing limited minutes). Bonk also won 62% of his face offs. Bonk has been a face-off specialist all year.

Player - Rick Nash

Nash had a hattrick in one game, and won 2 1st Star awards. He is leading the league in goals and continues his strong play heading into the New Year.

Defenseman - Paul Martin

3GP 0g 4a 4pts +5

Martin, fresh onto the Montreal scene, has put up some solid numbers since joining. He is playing on the 3rd pairing right now and the 2nd PP unit but is a solid presence out on the ice. He won a 3rd Star in a game this week.

Unsung Hero - Chris Kelly(62 OVR)

3GP 0g 3a 3pts +4

Since joining the Habs from Edmonton, Kelly has put up some points playing on the 3rd line and definitely has not been a liability whatsoever. This week he was on a PPG pace and was a + player in every single game including the loss to Atlanta.

Rookie/Goalie - Jonas Hiller

1GP 1W - Shutout

Hiller stepped in to give Miller a rest and he ended up getting a shutout in his start. Hiller has proven to be a capable #1 goalie and if anything ever happened to Miller (knock on wood), the Habs have confidence in Jonas.
