This really doesn't have anything to do with the Flames or NHL (other than he happened to work for the Canucks), so moving to OT.

I hate the Canucks as much as anyone, but this is a bit of a stretch.

In reading the article, I don't see where he is a Canucks employee? Or is that from a different source?

This is what? The third minor league coach charged this month?

I wonder if this is the fleury effect at play?

I'm guessing that its soon going to be mandatory for coaches to under go background checks.

I feel really bad for all the good coaches out there and for the minor hockey associations, stuff like this makes it harder for them to recruit good coaches.

It was on his bio but his website has since been changed. He is denying the charges.

The guy that accused him actually died two days ago. Police do not suspect foul play. Hmmmmmmmmm. Coincidence? Apparently.

Canucks deny he was ever associated with them

Perhaps a thread title change is in order? It reads pretty ######y toward the organisation at the moment.

Your wish is my command

But he was probably an independant contractor for the Canucks, so technically, he was never an employee of theirs

Thanks. Anyway, to the topic, if the guy is guilty, I hope he gets whatever the law can throw at him. It's very sad that the accuser has passed away, it will make it really difficult to get to the truth.

There are plenty of instances where someone is wrongfully accused, but it seems to me (and this certainly may be incorrect) that it's pretty rare when the accuser is male. The gay stigma thing.

Ya I think if he did anything it was work with individual players, cause the article from the province lists 5 or 6 players and I think 4 were Canucks
