If you ski/board, more than once a season, or can make a turn without going ass over tea kettle, you would notice a ton! head up to Lake Louise or Norquay, and try and make a half decent turn on the man made stuff with round edges!! Ever notice that when you hit the flats, you end up pushing cause you slow down, while there are a bunch of people whipping by? that is directly related to the wax, or lack there of on your skis!
Next time you go out on your skis / board that are un tuned, do your normal routine in the morning, and then drop you stuff off at the shop on hill while you enjoy a burger and a beer, and do the same runs in the afternoon, and i promise you will feel the difference and have more fun
