Nice to get my 3rd win in a row after dropping 3 in a row. Seems like my team has adjusted to the two injuries I sustained.

YEAH BABY!!

With Cullen injured, I saw no harm in giving Koivu an A and he played like a leader. 3 assists in a big offensive performance and he got some of our struggling players going. Timonen scored his first goal of the season today (Souray didn't have a point and the Stars still scored 5 goals).

Would you like to hear that horn a few more times Roberto?



Luongo is currently 7-5-1 with a 2.93 GAA and a .882 save percentage.
Legace is currently 5-0-3 with a 2.57 GAA and a .890 save percentage.

Ovechkin says what we know about Luongo.

Well we got a point out of the Wild. Too bad we were up 2-0 going into the 3rd and blew it by allowing 3 straight. The Blues also lost Boyd Gordon for 1 week.

Chalk up another loss for the Islanders, Ouellet pots 2 goals in a losing effort, Conklin`s fortunes don`t seem to be any better than Dipietro as he gives up 5 goals at home.

Luckily there is a two day rest as 2 more farm players get injured, with that the Islanders have maxed out their rosters by signing AHL defenseman Jon D Aversa and AHL LW Jan Mursak to help tide over the injury bug with Bridgeport Sound

Nice comback and a big overtime win. But we lose Paul Kariya for a few games.
