The Stamps have called a major press conference for Tuesday. We can only speculate as to what it is about. With all major admin and coaching positions filled, here are my guesses (in order of most likely).
1) Re-signing of a key free-agent to be. John Grace comes to mind.
2) A trade rumor that actually DOES come true. Khari Jones for Dave Dickenson?
3) Announce the trade of the #1 draft pick (Lumsden) to an Eastern team for their #1 pick and an impact player.
4) Part owner David Sapunjis gets old buddy Doug Flutie to sign with the Red and White for a farewell tour.
5) John Forzani announces that his son will be "trying out" (read starting) for the QB position this year. McMahon Stadium renamed Forzani's Really Big Locker Room.
6) Forzani announces ticket prices to go down, but the cost of a pair of really cool Adidas at Sport Chek goes up $20, plus facility fee.
Your thoughts?

Unlikely that it's a Dickenson/Jones trade. That info would have leaked out already I would think. John Grace re-signing makes sence. If it's not a Grace re-signing the Stamps better hurry up and get it done before he becomes a free agent on the 15th.

They don't usually wait a day to announce a trade - a signing they do. Sounds and they won't wait a day to announce someone minor, so it's gotta be Grace.
Trading of #1 won't be announced until closer to the Draft me thinks. My thinking is that we're stuck with Khari for the season. Wally will want DD to stick around for when Printers goes south, and from a thread on riderfans.com, sounds like money isn't an issue w/ Burris per Danny Barrett, and Burris' agent is coming with a counter proposal soon...but they aren't the most reliable bunch :P

Mike posted a message on there recently...long story short, it's messed up and impossible to fix for now...something to do with the member file being corrupt and that messed up the entire data base. If it can get repaired, cool. If not, maybe everything will have to start all over from scratch like back in July, or some other option.
What name do you post as on gsg?

If it's Grace, it means we've sewed up our biggest free agent & he isn't going to the Riders.

Now we just have to grab Burris so we can give the Sask fans a big ###### you very much!

CALGARY (CP) - The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed John Grace, keeping the all-star linebacker in-house rather than losing him to free agency.
The Stamps also added two new assistant coaches: Bill Diedrick (quarterback and running backs) and Tim Burke (secondary coach).
Diedrick comes from Notre Dame, and will serve as a volunteer since the Irish, who have revamped their coaching staff, will continue to pay his salary.
Burke was the defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach with Indiana State University last season.
