Flames' Seitsonen: I have to prove I can play at this level (QC Online)

Seitsonen signed with Finnish Elite League team HPK. He went overseas so early that Finnish fans know very little about him. Could QC fans tell something about his last season and his potential? Is he career 4th liner or has he potential to play in scoring lines?

I am not in QC but Calgary. I watched Aki play a number of WHL games for Prince Albert. A few games for Finland at the world juniors in Canada.

He looked to be a future 3rd line center for the Calgary Flames when he was drafted in 2004. I remember Darryl Sutter saying that a few years ago. He has good size and skates well. Not a natural offensive talent but works hard. Is responsible defensively. Decent in the face off circle.

Not too sure why his development stalled. May just need more time. Going back home is a good move. Hope it works out for him.

That guy couldn't Hit a wide open net if it were the protective net above the glass.

He is a GOOD pker but nothing more.

Hes a defensive style foward that will punch in 3 or 4 goals a year. That or sitting in the crowd.

Now as a person hes A+ he got my ole lady hammered last year.
