When I get angry I get twitches and pulsing veins, then my shirt explodes and I turn green.

Sometimes I have to work 25-35 hours without sleep and that is when I find these annoying twitches come out. Takes about a week or so for them to go away.

I wasn't aware there was work out there that required people to work up to 35 hours with no sleep. That's absolutely ridiculous, and depending on the work would almost certainly be dangerous, if not inefficient. I couldn't imagine a person working at even 30% of their abilities after a full 24 hour day of working.

Well now you are aware of it. I am sure the men and women of the military go for much longer periods without sleep than that and on a much more regular basis.
My work can be dangerous but that is the job. I am lucky that I don't have to work those kind of hours on a regular basis. Maybe once every couple months. Add the stress of flying long distance and it makes it a bit worse. When I went to Sarajevo we flew through several lightning storms which provided a lot of turbulance. Not cool seeing lightning all around you and having air France fresh in your mind.
But I love my job so I can't complain to much.

Yeah I get those twitches when I'm tired and occasionally when I'm stressed. When I went on vacation and we went on these tours at 6 AM, the twitches would flare up. It got so bad it lasted for a couple weeks that I talked to my Uncle (neurologist) he did some checks and said it was fine. Said they're not all too sure what really causes it, but if it gets bad they can give some meds. Also, people telling you to not do it won't help.
But when they flare up, they're hella annoying. And can be embarrasing

Longest I went without sleep was during my JLS training in the military and I went 60 hours without sleep. By the end of that I was having conversations with trees and shooting casper the friendly ghost.

If I have learned anything over the last two weeks....it's don't ignore the little things, they might actually be signs of something significant.
Read my story here: http://janemorgan.blogspot.com/2009/...estys-too.html
I don't think the same applies to you..... just saying...

Oh for sure. It could be signs of a neurological degenerative disease (Parkinsons or alzheimer's) but highly unlikely since you said it was triggered by sleep deprivation. If you go to a neurologist, he asked me questions like how I was doing in school, if I felt slower than others etc. Then he did tests like the normal look to the left, right. Made me press his hand with my hand and feet so test muscular and neurological strength. And lastly tested coordination.
Never a harm to get it tested unless you're in the states and will cost you thousands of dollars.... haha

Good advice. I have told my doctor about it previously and he said there is nothing to be worried about. He said it happens to a lot of people. Caused by a lot of things including lack of sleep, stress, caffine, amoung other things. Funny thing is, it happens to my wife to but she doest notice it. I am the one who notices it when she is sleeping.

I got zapped (electrocuted) by an a rather large Soviet made milling machine (440 volt - 3 phase). My eye was twitching for three or four months.
Damn commies.

I lol'd.
As an aside, I get twitches when I'm stressed. Thankfully, I haven't had any in a while. Hopefully, I don't have any for a long while. (Get well soon, Jane!)

Same thing with me. It was my eye lid on the left side.
Freekier last night was my vision started messing up. It was like my brain couldn't process the information coming in. Apparently its a visual migraine or something. As I never had one before, it kind of freaked me out.
....I need to get more sleep.
