LF: Cheap or Free Baseball Bat

My young son is starting to show an interest and is pretty good at Baseball so I am looking for a bat for him. So if anyone is able to give away a bat then let us know.

Why not just use a board with a nail in it?

Then when he's bigger, he can graduate to a board with a bigger nail it?

for practice? what age is he. I have some old aluminum ones that are no longer legal for play (weight/length), but are great for practice and used to be top of the line twigs.

He is 7 but doesnt really matter what size. I say practice its becuase we were to late to get into Baseball this year and we will be away for all the summer camps so we are seeing if it is something that he will keep intrest in by going to the many diamonds near our house to practice.
