Calgary & Area Softball Tournaments

Do any of you guys know of any good softball/slowpitch tourneys in the Calgary area? I belong to a beer league mixed slowpitch team and we are hoping to find a tournament this Summer that is fun, not too competitive and somewhere within an hours drive or so.

I know our league has plenty of tourneys each year, but I'm pretty sure you need to be in our league to play. I'd guess that most leagues are like that as well.

You could try the classifieds in the papers.
Word of mouth seems to be the best, though.
There are so many tournaments going on every weekend.
Softball Calgary puts out an e newsletter that has tourney adverts I think.
Call Big League sports, they run many NSA tourneys every weekend.
Call Okotoks on deck, likely a tourney every weekend.
Nanton (combine with antiquing), Strathmore, Sylvan Lake, etc. all have tourneys some weekends.

If you wamt recreational, maybe try the smaller towns' tourneys. You are likely to run into "Tournament teams" anywhere you go though.
