For the Ladies - Male Hottie Draft - Workshop Thread

Hopefully we can get enough ladies involved to have our own Hottie Draft. Again, if this isn't cool with the guys, we don't have to have it, I was just feeling left out to not get to list hot guys! Here are the rules as set out by GirlySport in previous drafts if you are not familiar with how it works. We can also change up the categories if you want. Hopefully we'll get at least 10 ladies to partake. Just say you are in and then we'll see how many we can get. And we can shorted the ass-kicking time if you want.

Here are the RULES:

Objective: to draft the team consisting of the hottest men in the world.

Draft in snake-style to fill the following 16 categories

1. Award Winner: this is a babe who has an Oscar, Golden Globe, Emmy, Grammy, SAG, or Tony.

2. Barely Legal: this is a babe who was born in 1988, 1989, 1990 or 1991.

3. 40+: any babe born BEFORE Jan 1, 1970

4. Canadian-born: any babe born in Canada

5. Below the border: any babe born in the western hemisphere below the 49th parallel (USA(alaska is ok), Mexico, Carribean, Central and South America

6. Commonwealth-born : any babe born in a Commonwealth country such as England, Australia, India, Hong Kong

7. Asian/Asian-born : any babe born in Asia or of Asian-heritage (1 parent)

8. European-born

9. Black/African born

10. Athlete: any babe that is an athlete in a sport

11. Reality: any babe who you didn't know existed until he got famous on a reality show.

12. Music: Any babe that is in music

13. Train Wreck: This is a man who has either (a) had a marriage that lasted less than one year, (b) been in rehab, (c) been convicted of something or served time or (d) made a sex tape.

14. Prime Time: actor (non-reality show) currently shown on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CTV or CBC between 8-11pm (7 days a week). Pretty much any actor that is on a well-known tv show in the evenings. And pretty much any scripted show.

Must be 18 or over (don't want to be listing kids now)
Must be alive right now!
No pornstars.

Trades! you can make trades but the it has to be zero-sum since every team needs 16 men. For example Team A can trade the 1st and 40th pick to Team B for the 5th and 6th pick. Even after you have selected a man you can trade. For example Team A trades .??.to Team B for the 180th pick. For a trade to happen both parties must PM me of the trade details and then I will announce it.
There is no trade deadline however there will be no trades allowed after the very last pick.

Make use of PMs and the chatroom to negotiate.

At any time you can switch a man from one category to another.

Team names: you are welcome to PM me your team name and I'll add it to the draft board.

Ass Kicking: When it's your turn you have 24 hours to select. After 24 hours the draft will continue on until you come back and pick. Your name will have brackets around it in the thread title. If your turn is coming up and you are away, please send 3 choices to me and I will select for you.

- If you see a name in the thread title with a * beside it, that means they have submitted their pick to the commish.

just as a general inquiry, a 24 hour AK time would get incredibly long. Most drafts do a 12-15 hour AK. Just a suggestion

Just because there's a 24 hour deadline doesn't mean that everone will take 24 (or I hope not!) It'll average out ok.

Some of these categories may require EXTENSIVE research! I apologize to my husband in advance.

Are we allowing any guys to join, or is it a "girl-only draft"? Not that I care, the more, the merrier. It'll be refreshing to get a guys perspective!

I took these categories from the other Hottie draft but we can get rid of any that might be too hard. I don't care how long an ass-kicking is, we can vote on it. And if guys want it, that's good for me.

It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I was in the first movie draft and the TV draft, which I'll admit I didn't finish. They are excellent drafts to look at to get an idea of how it works.
