I don't know any places that are specifically hockey bars, but I know that Blondies is pretty good for playing any sport around. There are two locations, Upper West (Amsterdam and 79th) and Upper East (2nd and 92nd). I watched playoff games there last year with a group of people and they gave us a back room with a big screen, so hopefully they'll hook you up.
There's also the ESPN zone in Times Sq. It's not my favorite area to travel to due to the mass of tourists, but it'll have pretty much every game you can imagine on.
I found a recommendation online for the Blue Moon Cafe at 79th and 1st, it's apparently a hockey bar but I lived in the area and don't really recall it so I'm not sure.
