Default Amazon.ca Blu Ray Disc Sale

Amazon is having a Blu Ray sale and there seems to be some pretty good deals. If you are a fan of the show Weeds you can grab Season 1 and Season 2 for $18 each. Other good deals can be found here:

So close to reasonable prices! The bigger titles still aren't quite there ($30 range) but it's great to see more around the $20 price point. Doesn't seem like Bluray is going to break through until it can get closer to dvd prices.

i thought they had a good deal on the Band of Brothers blu-ray set as they showed it marked down from $120, but then i saw on bestbuy.ca they had it for the same price and you don't have to wait for shipping

thats the biggest thing for me. i went ahead and rented batman a while back in blu-ray just to see what it was like. and for me with not having top notch electronics, the difference in picture and sound isn't worth it for those high prices. we buy most of our movies from the cheap rack at wal-mart or used from the video store. rarely do i pay over $10 for a movie.

Unless they do it painstakingly correct. Most of the older movies look fine on the upscale as compared to a new movie shot digitally and then put on Blu Ray.

Perhaps, but most of my point is still valid about contemporary films looking better on Blu Ray due to age etc.
