Steve Miller Band in Calgary?

Noticed on Pollstar they have a show listed on July 9/09 at Fort Calgary. Can't find anything else on it though. Any one on here know anything, specifically when tickets might be going on sale?

Could this be Virgin Fest 09? Wasn't that at Fort Calgary around the same time last year?

Looks like it lines up with a Stampede Event. Virgin Fest was well after Stampede I believe, and Steve Miller doesn't really seem like Virgin Fest material...

It would make sense to call if a Virgin fest if he's there because there'll be a whole lot of sucking and a lack of action.

Its probably for the Stampede Roundup party at Fort Calgary. Last year was Joan Jett, Billy Idol and Colin James.

If Steve Miller Band is playing at that, that would be wicked...thats where my company does our Stampede Party.

Yeah didn't really think he'd fit in with Virginfest but for some reason thought that was during Stampede last year.

Roundup party eh? So like, a bunch of country and then Steve? Might not be worth it. Billy Idol would have been rad... at a certain price point. How much was that? Anyone remember?
