Back on topic:

I have breifly looked for the same type of cable for HDMI, digital audio and coax so my HD box will fit right in my TV stand. As it is now the front legs are hanging off the front and I beleive it is adding to my heat problems due to air circulation being reduced.

The fact that no one sells them lead me to believe one of 2 things:

No one has figured out that there is a market for this kinda thing.

OR

Creating a cable at 90degrees like that will bugger up your signal due to signals creating interference or something along those lines that I vaugely understand..

I have no idea if either of them are true or I am just delusional though, so I will await Ken's input as well.

Is this what you're looking for? The website appears to be reputable (see here).

Here's another option. The website appears a little sketch, though. Maybe not?

This site offers right-angled HDMI and RCA connectors and is definitely reputable.

Of course there's always Monoprice, though finding a unique item like that on their site could prove difficult.

You can always make it yourself. Take the S-videocable and cut it open. Bend the wires 90 degrees. Cut off the excess plastic. Put some heatshrink on it and take a lighter to it.

If I understand you right, couldn't you just drill a hole in the back of the cabinet to feed the S-Video cable in. Nobody is going to be looking at the back of your cabinet.

Apparently your boyfriend is not even talking to you for the past couple days. Ouch!
