Default Android apps caughts sending data to advertisers

If you use Android, you might want to check out this article - no information on the actual apps tested

That's the downside of a free for all vs. a tightly controlled environment (like Apple).

I know a lot of people simply ignore those warnings when installing apps. This is why I'm still using the default home launcher. The amount of access needed by ADW or LauncherPro just makes me way too uncomfortable.
