Cjay had a ongoing report of liqour stores open and/or places you could grab a beer. I think the only place that was selling was on of the old hotels doing off-sales. Oh yeah, and you could wet your whistle at the Cecil too... :P

all liquor stores closed early, all over the city. i know because i phoned maybe half of them (no mean feat) as the only money i had was a checque being delivered at 10 pm.

on our way driving to maybe the worst millenium party anywhere, solo liquor had a sign on highway #1 westbound:

solo liquor
open till 2am
