Do you have any server experience? Don't make much hourly but the tips can really add up if you work at a decent enough establishment (i.e. The Keg, etc.).
Are you muscular/tall? Again, hourly wage isn't great, but you and your crew set the amount it'll take for people to skip the lineup at clubs and at a busy club, you can make quite a bit off the grease alone.

Why not try to pick up freelance graphic design jobs? I realize it's not steady / consistent work but at least you're using the skills you learned in school.

Yah that's what I have been doing but my contacts have run dry for now or a lot of the projects are on hold for quite some time.

Have you tried any of the online freelance sites (like elance.com)? People post job requirements and you bid on them.
I don't know how much work you'd have to put in on bids with no promise of getting the work, but that's sort of the nature of the design business.

I have never heard of this. It feels a bit weird to be working for someone you will never meet but it beats working at McDonalds.
(FYI. I am not considering working at McDonalds)
Thanks!

Dont write-off prostitution. Its become an equal opportunity endeavour these days and people of all races, religions, genders and ages can get involved in the fun.
The industry is finally starting to move away from it's white female domination of the past.
So hit up your nearest street corner with your best pair of fishnets and give it a whirl. You never know where your next prostitution adventure will take you.

I saw a sign driving the other day that had Dominos Pizza looking for a delivery driver - $25 an hour.
My god. And I bet you could still show up after 30 minutes and they wouldn't fire you!

If you are good with your fingers.......
Symcor, it's a place where you encode cheques. You type in numbers only and drop a cheque down this machine. Only weeknights and never weekends, 3 nights a week, usually from 7 - 10 or 11. I made around $30/hr.

I used to work as a Bar tenders assistant with Tip-out at the Den. Worked Thursday and Friday nights (from 9pm to 1pm) and pulled in an extra $1,200 - 1,400 a month (Plus another $400 - $500 for working BSD). Pretty easy work too, just stocking beer fridges, grabbing booze from the back, running the dishwasher and checking out university girls. Plus when I went there Saturday nights I hardly paid anything to drink.
The bartenders make way more but a BA (bartenders assistant) needs no experience.

Yeah, it was good tips depending on if there was a 'cabaret' (university department party) but the wage was complete crap. Probably made $40-$50 a night in wage and $80-$150 in tips (depending on the event).
