This is why I will never drive a motorcycle. Obviously, I wouldn't have access to one like this but if I have the ability to go 180 MPH (don't most crotch rockets have that pretty easily?) I'm going to go there. What a rush.

Then a squirell runs under your tire.....

I can't say I feel sorry for the guy. I mean he must on his death wish by driving that fast on a car let alone a motorcycle. That is a plain stupid and he should be nominated on Darwin Awards.

No he didn't have a death wish. He knew the risks going in, he did things to mitigate those risks. Things obviously went bad, and he ended up dying. And you don't feel sorry for the guy or his family? Saying that he is stupid and should nominated for a Darwin Award?

Sorry, I totally do not agree, and think that's a pretty dumb statement.

Yep, this is a pretty ignorant post, dude. I don't see how this is different than any other auto racing, Dale Earnhart's pretty much revered as a saint since his death.

I got nothing but respect for this guy, I'd rather die like that than live my entire life sitting at a desk job.

RIP.

Road rash + salt flats = one painful day at the office.

Hopefully it was quick, or his suit took the brunt.

You realize this was on the salt flats and not a public road right?

He is (was) responsible for his own life, and now its over. Shouldnt feel happy or sad, it was his decision and how he has to "live" with the consequences.
