Ontario Pesticide Ban

So, I'm sure most people have heard about it by now and I'm just wondering where CP members fall in the debate. Should people be allowed to spray pesticides and herbicides on their lawns? Are people who do short-sighted boobs? Are people who support the ban tree-hugging enviro-nazis?

Any herbicide ban like this also needs to go hand in hand with by-law enforcement on those who let weeds grow wild; and therefore allow the seeds to blow over into neighbouring yards.

I wonder how many people would stop using herbicides if none of their neighbours had weed problems.

Same thing for pesticides- how many bugs are caused because my neighbour has his kids' "Mr. Turtle Pool" full of rain water all spring? Then you get into the storm drain ponds; the city should be stocking them with fish if they want a natural solution to controlling insect populations.

heck, I've been trying to convince my wife to go lawn-free for years. A big waste of time and water.
