Default watching ice hockey in britain

as british people might know here, channel 5 shows live NHL games about once or twice a week (generally at 1.30am)

does anyone know if the flames have been on it this season?

everytime i watch it always seems to be the chicago blackhawks versus some shoddy eastern team nobody cares about (even the presenters acknowledge this!!)
Does the NHL/networks charge more for screening a game if its say detroit or a better team, thus meaning channel 5 can only afford those teams without a playoff chance?

NASN does HNIC too.

And lots of other games.

Or you could buy Center Ice Online....if it works overseas.

Don't know for sure.
