Talk about an antiquated tradition. I hate the time change, throws me off.

Wow, daylight savings time totally caught me off guard this time. Where the hell have I been? So I should be springing ahead Saturday night before bed?

The news was saying today that the time change this weekend leads to increased accidents on Monday morning, so be aware of your sleepiness and everyone else's heading in to work on Monday!

My theory is they should just keep moving the clock BACK twice a year. Although you'd eventually work in the middle of the night, just think - two weekends a year where you get extra sleep!

Mmmmm, sleep.

(Plus every twelve years they could have a Feb 30 to make up for the lost 24 hours - how cool would THAT be if you were born on that day?)

I'll take the one less hour of sleep to get that extra hour of sunlight during the day.

No because it doesnt kick in until 2am, when the bars would be closing anyways. You're looked after.

They moved it up last year from the first Sunday of April to the second Sunday of March, so it is the same as last year, but not the same as what is has been in the past.

I remember back in the early 80s, it used to start at the end of April, but they moved it up to the beginning of April.

Does anyone know what the story is with Northeastern BC? http://inms-ienm.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/time..._saving_e.html

It looks like they're the same as us during the winter, but the same as the rest of BC during DST. I knew Saskatchewan doesn't change because they didn't want to confuse their cows, but I didn't know that there was anywhere else in Canada that didn't change.

Me too I feel I can get more done during the day with the extra hour. And for some reason, it helps me realize that spring and summer are on the way. I love warm summer nights when there's still light until 9PM.

Screw it. We should just move the clocks forward half an hour and never change them again.
