Northern Lights
Anyone see these tonight? I was in Marda Loop at about 10:30 and the sky was just beautiful.
Any pictures taken?

I also saw them at around 12-12:30 last night. They were incredible...for Calgary. You hardly see them here at all, but that was one of the best shows I've seen here!

nice. That's one of the very few things I miss about Fort McMurray. Wicked northern lights up there.

Was in Olds and outside last night around midnight they did look fantastic. They spanned over quite a distance in the skies...

What are the chances it happens again tonight? Or does it not work that way?

I've always thought they just kind of happen randomly. Dunno for sure though.
Last night was amazing though. I just about hit the ditch 5 or 6 times because I was looking out the window at them. The greens were so intense and flowing...I love the northern lights.

I never saw them in my time in Kalispell, though I hear that you can on occasion, even that far south. My wife used to see them in Houston, BC growing up...she says it was fairly rare though.
Hope I get to move back north again someday soon.
