So who's at work today (Family Day)?
I am and I'm pretty bored but it's free money. I get holiday pay + OT + a day in lieu, which I will be using on March 18th (to recover from the ungodly mess I will become on St. Patrick's Day).

I had to come in today to attend a conference call. Other than that, not much else going on. Being on salary sucks sometimes. Just straight time for me today.

I am...and making triple time while I'm at it. I guess its not too shabby....none of my family lives here and I would just be sitting at home doing nothing anyways...so may as well get paid a nice chunk of money to sit here at work and surf CP...lol

I got this day off during the christmas break, so its not sooooo bad. It is a pretty surreal change to drive to work in no traffic.
No extra money, I'm salary...

No mail delivery in the US today because it's President's Day....but many non government offices are open....which means.....tomorrow will be HELL. 3 days worth of full volume mail. WOOOOHOOOO!

Of course how will you respond when you get a stat in August!
Many Private companies in Alberta have a 9 stats a year policy now and they'll give workers the option of working Family day or taking a long weekend in August. Eveyone at my work chose to come to work today in favor of a day off in August today. Funny, it's really not that bad out today.
