Assasisns Creed for $40 and NHL08 for $48 are great deals, add free shipping and its a phenomenal deal.
Also X360 for $400 and PS3 for $500 are also good deals.

Speaking of Assassin's Creed, has anyone played this game? It got a pretty mediocre review on IGN, but I thought it looked amazing from the pre-release trailers.

I got it for Ps3 on release day
been playing it between work and watching hockey
entertaining, not overly difficult or challenging at the moment, but supposedly itll get harder as city guards are now going to be on the look out more
visuals are great, controls are easy to learn

I bought this along with COD 4 on the weekend. I have to say Assassins Creed is incredible, really really entertaining. A very different and engaging storyline.
One funny thing is I took my first copy back as I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get through the tutorial "sector unreadable" error, different voices/videos...turns out that's part of teh game. LOL . The guy said he's had 2 or 3 returned for "bad sectors"
pays to research I guess, I thought it was defective 
b.

If you go to walmart, Nhl08 is $30. It will say like $58 or something in the sticker, but when its scanned it, it'llbe $30. Got a 2nd copy last weekend, and it's been like this for awhile, so good chance they didn't fix it.

X-box 360 Elite.
I'm tempted... seems like a decent deal. arrgggghhh....

It's actually a 42" TV and only 720P I think... I got it confused with the other flash screen where they are advertising a LG 47" 1080p LCD TV... so that changes things a bit for me anway, 42" is just a bit too small and I think I want 1080p.
Orange box is on special at Dell today too... $44.99 - I have heard good things about the PC version. Again odd that they are not offering a PC version at discount. No Wii games at all... boooo.
I wonder how long it would take to get a Wii as they have a package deal for the Wii today, you only save $13.00 but I think shipping is still free.

I went to the one in northland (after getting halo3 for $50 at futureshop, and assassins + cod4 for $90 at bestbuy) but i think any walmart works (people on forums all over canada confirmed it) since it's a glitch in their computer systems. just get it out of the cast and ask them to scan it to see how much it costs. you can always not buy it if they fixed the problem.
