It's a Doan Deal!

The Minny Wild are pleased to announce the acquisition of Shane Doan.

He joins the team via a deal with Anaheim that sees Maxim Afinijunkoff and Alex Goligoski.

We think our team is too "Finnessy" right now and needed a tough winger with some scoring ability to play with our talented players who refuse to go in the corners.

The tough part of this deal was giving up Goligoski moreso than Maxim who just sucked rocks in his time in Minny.

Solid, solid deal for Grant and the Minny Wild.

Doan is easily the better player and fits what Minny is looking for to a T. Solid asset management by the GUNIT swapping Semin to me first for Afinigenov, and turning him and a prospect into an NHL captain. Nice move!

Too bad Afinigenov didn't work out for ya... Semin is lighting it up in Long Island though!
