Both political and sports related.

What a flop-flopper! Is this man trustworthy for President? This is the ultimate sin!

Of course he's rooting for the Sox. The Sox have way more fans. Of course, I don't know what this'll do to his support in Yankee Nation.

This is like Oilers fans cheering for Calgary in 2004 and vice versa in 2005 cause it's CANADA!

Rudy is such a sell out. Using 9/11 to promote his presidential bid just seems wrong to me.

Just an FYI, he has never used any image from 9/11 in any promotional item or advertisement. Hillary was the first one to use it (couldnt expect much more from her though). Rudy doesnt need to blatantly use it at the moment because he is already default assoicated with it.

Anger at Giuliani 9/11 fundraiser
Quote:
Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani has been criticised over a fundraising party at which participants are being urged to donate $9.11.
The International Association of Fire Fighters accuses him of exploiting the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks.

Giuliani on Sick 9/11 Workers: 'I Have That Same Risk'
Quote:
"I was at ground zero as often, if not more, than most of the workers ... I was there working with them. I was exposed to exactly the same things they were exposed to. So in that sense, I'm one of them," Giuliani told reporters in Cincinnati Thursday.

Do you call that capitalizing - I call it a smidge novel. Not in the best of taste mind you but not whoring your self like the below. Also, call me not surprised that the same firefighter union treaded over that but not the below.
Dems have the unions and actors, Reps have the corporations and bible thumpers.

9/11 Image Drives Giuliani's Campaign
Quote:
Campaigning in Florida and Texas last weekend, Giuliani mentioned today's anniversary at every stop -- including a 9/11 remembrance luncheon attended by local fire, police, and rescue workers in Orlando. When asked on Saturday whether his evocation of the Sept. 11 tragedy while campaigning was questionable, Giuliani answered a reporter firmly.
"You have to talk about it," he said. "Sept. 11, along with the many other things that it is, it is political. It was an attack on America. That would be like saying after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Americans shouldn't talk about it."

In Campaign Year, Invoking 9/11 Raises New Debates
Quote:
During a Republican presidential debate on Wednesday, Rudolph W. Giuliani asserted, “The reality is that I’m not running on what I did on Sept. 11.”
Two days later, a crowd of nearly 1,000 filed into a ballroom here for a 9/11 Remembrance Luncheon. Graphic images of the exploding towers, dust-covered survivors and even a series of photos that showed someone leaping from a tower were flashed on two giant screens flanking the stage where Mr. Giuliani was about to speak.
“America must never forget the lessons of Sept. 11,” Mr. Giuliani, the former New York City mayor, later told the crowd.

It doesn't look like he is using 9/11 at all

Show me an add where he has whored himself out about it and the argument has credence. Dont get me wrong, he will bring an add out, he just hasnt yet and wasnt the one to go to that gutter first.
Hillary was as was stated on Meet the Press 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Guilliani was just interviewed on Fox News last week about campaigning using images of 9/11 (I was in the States and finally got to watch that channel - it was interesting to say the least).
He was in favour of a candidate's ability to use 9/11 montages in their commercials and openly talk about the inccident etc. He specifically did not criticize Hillary for her montages and it is likely because he campaigns on 9/11 in his own way. So at least he doesn't sound like a hypocrite.
On the other hand, he is now apparently backing the Red Sox, so perhaps one could question my above conclusion.
