Default Can you help a brother out?!

I'm not (really) asking for trade secrets here, just a few tricks of the trade:

a) As a GM how do you keep reasonable track of the schedule? I just want to make sure that my lines are in on time and things like that...but the schedule is all listed as day1,2,3,etc. I'm sure that I could keep this straight for a little while, and then be lost around day 32!

b) Lines: I know the basics, but I have a quick question. My lines don't seem to save each time that I go into the editor...I start from scratch every time. It would be nice/easier if I could get this to save each time so I can start from my last line-up. Anything that I'm doing wrong, or could try?

c) OK, I know that I'm probably wasting my time typing this one...but you never know! I see posts about line chemistry and the sim. Anyone care to give some information as to what I might look for in this aspect, or should I just go the trial and error route?

Thanks for you help!

a) always check the web page. Usually someone will do a prediction thread with the next days games. Thats the easiest way to know when you play

b) I dunno, I usually keep my lines the same with minor changes game to game. They're not big enough changes that i forget them

c) Good luck, people that have the secret, don't share the secret

Trial and error for chemistry, the league used to have the schedule page with results from the previous day automatically done, but I don't know if we can do that this year with the lack of a proper nerd. I must say Fires tech work was pretty under appreciated.

You'll never miss a scheduled game for your team if you check this forum every day (and it seems like you do).

Every day, after the results for that day are posted, the commish will post a Predictions thread for the next day's games.

Are you downloading the new roster files before you run the editor to do your lines? For me, when I do this, the newest roster file always has the lines I used the previous game already loaded.

I know nothing about chemistry or the SIM because... well... yeah. LOL

I write my games down, on a note pad. I sit here at some point everyday so I can just look and see when the next game is. Easy to do a week at a time.

Delete the old GM files and lines files before you download the new ones, then when you load the new GM file into the Editor you will have your last lines.

Chemisty? I do think there is some chemistry written into the sim tiny little brain, and it is not the same thing every year. Well maybe that is because my team usually changes quite a bit from year to year. But it seems what worked last year, doesn't work as well this year. But will work again in 3 years. So ya....good luck

When you open team lines, just click "Load Lines" and select the last file you sent into the league. Ta-da!
