Man urinates on disabled woman who lay dying in street declaring it youtube material

A Hartlepool man is facing jail after he urinated on a disabled woman who lay dying in the street.

The 27-year-old shouted "this is YouTube material" as he degraded Christine Lakinski, 50, who had fallen ill, magistrates heard.

He tried to rouse her by throwing a bucket of water over her, before urinating on her and covering her with shaving foam. The incident was filmed on a mobile phone.

She was later declared dead at the scene, the cause of death being given as pancreatic failure.

I like reading the news from all over the world. Sometimes I stumble on articles I think might create interesting discussion.

That is one of the worst things I've read in some time. Just blows my mind that someone could do that.

Makes you realise how sick people really are.

I can't fathom why anyone would do such a thing.

well, while he is not required to "help her" because he did engage her, there may be a duty to provide her with assistance, it would be great if went to jail for a very very long time.

This kind of behavior is, sadly, more common that you'd like to believe.

Couple of summers ago, in Calgary, three punks did basically the same thing to a passed-out homeless man, all the while videorecording it.

Just a modern update on the age-old human tradition of cruelty to the less fortunate.

I could never hurt a defenseless person...That's not even a moral stand, I just don't think I have the make-up to do it.

I don't generally support the death penalty...

...but there are exceptions.

Human behaviour like this really makes me hope there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. If we are the pinnacle of life forms in the whole she-bang, it's pretty disheartening. It kind of makes creation, evolution, the big bang or whatever you believe in a big waste of time and resources.

The fact that some people are worthless bits of scum does not invalidate the brilliant achievements of others.

Agreed ... Hawking, Einstein, Mozart, Vivaldi, Da Vinci, even unsung heroes like anonymous philanthropists and such provide hope and merit for humans. But scum like this guy drag the human race as a whole down, which is what I was getting at. It is my that hope there are life forms somewhere in the universe that don't have such a low comomon denominator. If there are, that would provide hope that the human race one day might achieve a loftier moral/ethical/spiritual state as well.

yeah i remember that because it was one of my friends, older brothers friends who was filming his friends pee on a passed out homeless guy. weird thing was his brother was actually a nice guy not sure why he'd get mixed up in something like that

he got like 6 months in jail or something.

he was certainly an asshat.
