John Fogerty rocks
anyone else at the show? Started out with Travelling Band and played pretty much non stop for 2 hours. And he played Old Man Down the Road, which is my favourite song from him. 62 years young, his voice is great and his playing has never been better.

Also my favorite.
It's a shame about he and his brother though. Would love to see them bury the hatchet and play together before it is too late.

Tom Fogarty died 17 years ago, so I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen.

See, it's already too late.
I didn't know that.

from Wiki:
By 1968 the band was renamed Creedence Clearwater Revival, when John had become full-time lead singer and primary songwriter. During the few years of the life of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tom sang back up vocals and wrote songs, but only one of his songs ("Walk on the Water") was recorded. This lack of opportunity, along with festering, longstanding animosity with his brother, led him to leave CCR in 1971.
After the band broke up, Fogerty began performing and recordingsolo. Although John played several guitar parts on Tom's solo-albums, they remained estranged. Tom was bitter at having his contributions overlooked. In the pre-CCR days, Tom had been singer, songwriter, and, generally, manager of the act. Tom Fogerty had minor hits like "Goodbye Media Man" and "Joyful Resurrection".

I've always thought that Fogerty had one of the best voices I've ever heard. Very powerful and unique. Weird that he was essentially sued for sounding too much like himself when he was in CCR.
I am guessing he played Centerfield...that song is awesome.
