Default Good Wii games for Grade 9 girls?

My wife is having 8-12 Junior High aged girls over to our house this evening.

We were thinking it would be a great time to use the Wii. I have had it since Christmas, but never use it, so I havent even kept up on what games are out there.

I'm going to rent a few games for the girls. Which ones should I get? Obviously, something that is fun for girls, fun in a group environment, and only takes a few minutes to enjoy.

Do any of the Wii fans have any suggestions?

Bust-a-move is fun with lots of people and Mario Party 8 is perfect for that many people. The Brain Academy game is pretty cool too and you can play in teams of 8 or more I think.

I was thinking that too but with multiple players it's kind of hard. Once you beat the game and unlock the multi-games it's okay but from renting it lots of people would be watching one person.

That's true. I totally forgot you had to unlock it first.

Smooth moves is by far the best. It will take you literally 15 mins to unlock all the mini games. You just have to play one round of each and it unlocks..I think.

Just rent that one, and unlock the multi player before the party.

No, you have to beat the rounds. It took me a week to do it.

Mario Party or Super Monkey Ball.. You can have multiple people playing at the same time, which makes it a ton of fun. Can't go wrong with Wii Sports either. Also, if you don't want to bother unlocking all the content, you can go to www.gamefaqs.com to get saved games to throw on your Wii using an SD card.

Manhunt 2. No, that's wrong. I mean Rayman Raving Rabbids (or whatever it's called) It's supposed to be a great party game.

Rayman Raving Rabbids is definitely a fun one.

Big Brain I haven't tried yet but I've heard is good.

Cooking mama is also fun (except the in game voice gets a little annoying)

Mario Party 8 (Junior high girls u say, lets see who does the best in the "shake it up" mini game... ahahaha)

Wario Warez: Smooth Moves is also a good one.

but the truth is:

Wii Sports alone should keep them entertained for hours.

Yes, I did indeed run out of my house! I went for dinner with my brother, and killed the rest of the time at HOME DEPOT! You cant get any more opposite to the Junior High girls than good old Home Depot.

Thanks for all the game tips folks!

I picked them up Mario Party 8 and Bust a Move. My wife said they really enjoyed them. Wii Sports would have kept them busy too, but many of them have played that here on other occasions.

That was a good plan going to the Home Depot, No Junior High girl would be found their except shopping with their parents. Hey the good thing is that the girls had fun at your house now you wont have the label of the uncool house to hang out at. My parents found out after my sister had a party at home and my dad crashed it, that was the last party ever seen in my house.
