Apparently Hotmail is pretty tricky, GMail being the best free option.

That said, check this link out, especially the comments. There were a few explainations in there describing how others were able to make it work.

I have hotmail, not hotmail plus and a blackberry pearl 8100 on an 02 account and it works great, I just logged my email address on the 02/blackberry website and rang 02 to activate data part of my phone and 20 mins later I have hotmail coming onto my phone... hooray, the web was so negative about this but it is possible.

You can't really "SYNC" it any way that I know off.. but you can definaly use your blackberry account to pull from your hotmail account.

Not sure what telus's blackberry stuff is like I deal with rogers.. I would imagin as a telus customer you would goto https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=telus , login and add your hotmail account.

I can kind of help you out with this, I use to work with BlackBerry for a bit.
How long have you had your hotmail account, if its an older account you can do this, but if its a newer one within the past couple years, you have to pay an upgrade to hotmail I think its 19.99. Then you can add the email through your Providers BlacBerry Internet service (BIS).
Here are the Internet links depending on your service provider
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=telus
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=rogers
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=bell
Once there you can add on your email adress and password, should be pretty easy to set up.
Hope that helps

Easiest thing I found when I had my blackberry....forward the hotmail incoming mail to a blackberry address...you'll get the "PUSH" feautre (if they still use it) and it's instantaneous.
