Kerry is gonna edge him out in Popular vote, and in electoral college, but it'll be at least a week or two before it is decided (probably in the courts)
I should note the I think the even if Bush wins the Electoral College, he will not get the popular vote.

My guess is Kerry wins the popular vote, but Bush gets the electoral.

I voted Bush ... I think he wins by a somewhat comfortable margin and avoids the court hassles.

I would prefer a Bush win, but I really have no idea if that is going to happen.

Hey Bingo, I didn't see your poll when I started a thread about basically the same thing. Feel free to lock or delete the thread I started.
Anyway, I think Bush will win, but it is going to be tremendously close once again.
BTW, astrologers in India say that the way the planets are aligned and all that, it is likely that Bush loses, but that if he wins, he will not finish the term.

Nader in 2004... 2008... 2012... 2016.
I think Kerry will win though.

I removed Nader, as he was already pulling in 40% of the votes and therefore skewing things pretty badly.

Bush, after a protracted court battle. And I agree again, Bush will not finish out the term. He'll either get impeached or taken out by some wingnut. The country is divided and the level of hate for Bush is at an incredible high that it is the perfect environment of an assassination attempt.

Bush decisively.
I would vote for Badnarik given the chance.

Kerry. The polls are wrong and the walk up vote and cell phone vote of the young does Bush in.

I'd really be carefull about saying things like that. Seriously, you can get into major crap for even joking about things like that. I think for Bingo's sake there should be some sort of moritorium on using the words Bush/President and assasinate in the same sentence.

Kerry by a slim margin (of course). It'll go to court and the inauguration will be pushed down the road but he'll get it.

Thanks for the concern. You'll notice there was no threat toward anyone, just a confirmation of the social climate that could lead to such an act. The last time we had a country this divided on a President was JFK. It wouldn't take much for some wingnut on either side to get torqued up and take a shot at someone. That goes for Kerry as well BTW. It can get pretty ugly down here when politics are discussed. I don't see any harm in discussing the fact. As long as no one does something like leveling a threat, what is the problem?

Oh, I agree with you Lanny, I don't think you did anything wrong, but you never know what can be taken the wrong way. I was kinda half joking when I said the part about the moratorium, but you would know better than I that they take that kind of talk very serious down there.

I think a more valuable poll would be "who would you vote for". I mean no offense to you guys, but professionals who try to predict these things for a living are saying it's way too close to call. Anybody's prediction at this point is not much more than p*ssing at a target in the dark.
The most unpartisan view I've heard on the subject is www.electoral-vote.com which is predicting a Kerry win based on polls. But polls suck, and are unreliable, and one of the key votes in this election (new voters) are not adequately counted.

I'll predict Kerry. What the polls don't indicated is that the Kerry supports hate Bush more than the Bush supporters hate Kerry. The anti-Bush crowd will make sure the get off their couch and get out to vote.

Michael Moore wins because his next movie is going to be the election day fiasco at the polling stations. $$$$$
I hope Bush wins, the Cdn dollar hasn't been at 95 cents in a LONG time.
