Hello all,
Just wanted to send a brief heartfelt thanks to all in CP land, ESPECIALLY THE MODS, for the great service here.
First of all, CP is a wealth of information. I know many people both in real life and online, that will ask a question here before looking at other sources, or as the first stop on their journey. That's commendable and inspiring in itself.
Secondly. I spend a lot of time on other boards, more now than ever, and I have to say, CP has one of the most informed and well spoken groups of any of them. So much better than some of the 'premium ones' it's scary.
A lot of us disagree and it even gets heated, but more often than not, it's thought out and well delivered. And, at least compared to the other boards, respectful.
I went to another board, trying to preach some of the ideals that Ro graciously reminded us of a few months ago, and was all but laughed off. With the internet being such a tool for information and learning, I appreciate that we can use it as such here at CP, instead of letting it become a cesspool of pissing matches and people making fun of one another.
I know it gets really heated here sometimes, and I can be a culprit. But being around the block, this is really the most mature group, and in many ways, most enlightened group, I have met.
A huge shout out to the mods who keep everything on track and keep the bullpoop to an internet minimum. Good job guys.
Everyone else I just want to say thanks for the experience, even if we have crossed swords. The members here are really what makes this site great!
