Moving trailer rental-not Uhaul!

I'm moving at the end of the month (within Calgary) and was curious if anyone had experience or knew of places that rented those trailers that you can just hook up to a regular truck. I'd rather stay away from Uhaul if I could, but maybe they're the only show in town when it comes to those kind of trailers.

I rented a 5 tonne from either National or Enterprise, but sorry, can't remember which... Their office was in the back side of Holiday Inn at 42 Ave & Macleod Tr.

Anyway, for 24 hrs and 50 free kms, it was $120. After I paid the kms, it was $160. I did a fair amount of driving.

The pros: big truck. probably one load mayyybe two.
power tailgate (elevator style)
auto tranny (if that's your style)
celan, big, safe, mechanically sound, almost new vehicle
side door as well as rear door


The cons: power tailgate as opposed to the low deck & ramp that uhaul has
auto tranny (face it, auto sucks!)
large vehicle, not for the timid

Is there still that Ideal Rentals place on 17th ave? Around Centre street if it's there; and I seem to recall there being trailers there.

Airdrie Trailers provides trailer rentals. They're in really good shape and the people there are very professional. The only downside is you have to go to Airdrie to pick-up/drop-off, and it's a little more expensive too.

I know that the Storedge by the Road King has a trailer...was pretty cheap the last time I heard the price.
