Default Young boy hit by SUV

CBC is reporting an accident

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-col...10/bc-suv.html

Very disturbing that the driver is not taking responsibility
There have been similar instances in Calgary lately with the 2 teenage girls being hit in front of Western Canada H.S. and the 6-year old girl who was hit and killed by the University. At least in both cases the driver stopped and helped the victim and reported everything to police. Hopefully they won't be charged too severely for the accidents.

But this case is awful.. hit and run resulting in the death of a boy is inexcusable.

Does anyone know if those two girls that got hit in front of Melrose/Western are okay now?

This is nothing like what happened in front of Western Canada High School, the two girls walked through an intersection on what most will agree is a busy road. Is the driver in the wrong, yes he likely should have been paying more attention to the road, but there is no comparison to someone hitting someone in a marked crosswalk.

There hasn't been any word on the condition of the girls in the accident at Western but in a situation like this no news should be taken as good news.
