Cleaning a Carpet…

So our fellow poster jroc had a little bit of a gathering last night mainly 2 kegs and about 60 people everything was pretty under raps expect for a few visits from the cops about noise, anyway it’s the next morning and we are cleaning up and his nice white carpet in his living room is now the color of mud/cigarette buts and we aren’t sure how to go about cleaning properly should we rent a rug doctor thing or is there a cheaper more effective way? Any help is appreciated….

Rent a carpet cleaner they work great if you get a good one, and since you say the carpet is white get oxi-clean and put it in the carpet cleaner. I did that once and it worked great save you alot of scrubbing and dabbing the stains.

Failing that, get out Ram Carpet, you wont have one spot left. There is another product, sold by Linens' N Things, that is very good at spot removal. Two products, the same, except one is used to remove pet urine and smells as well.
