Your Dream Band
With the vocalist/guitar thread on the go, I got to thinking what would be your dream band, living or dead?
Bass: John Paul Jones
Guitar: Jimi Hendrix
Drums: John Bonham
Lead Vocals: John Lennon
I don't neccesarily know if this band would work chemistry wise, but seeing all these guys on stage at once would just be beyond words. I think I read somewhere once that Keith Richards, Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience), Lennon and Clapton all shared the stage once to play Yer Blues.

Some left-field suggestions for bass. I'll have to get back on the "whole band" thing - a little brain-dead at the moment! Damn Mondays.
Or Victor Wooten (of Bela Fleck), Man, is that guy talented. You absolutely have to see this, bass fans:

Mick Karn (of Japan) for his sweet, quirky fretless bass stylings.
