Thumbs up How about a trade proposals sub-forum?

Seems the forums get overrun by these every once in awhile. Personally, I don't mind them one bit, seeing as they generate a lot of discussion. But I can see they also really bother some people.

A trade proposal forum or sub-forum would keep these threads in one area and not bother the people who hate them. It's better than locking the thread and stifling discussion, even if it is discussion some people want to have nothing to do with.

The mods and admins should at least consider this.

They tried a trade forum last year near the deadline.
The issue that arose is there is a huge grey area where people don't know which forum to post information and as a result the same threads were being started (often independantly) in both forums.

I'm not sure it it is going to be attmpted again this year or not.

The threads themselves don't bother me, it's the stupid, thoughtless, and impossible trades that bother me. Having a trade forum just justifies the value of such stupid threads and would see a massive increase in them.

I vote to keep it as is.

They should have an "Around the NHL" sub-forum. That would take care of many; while leaving the flames trades in the FOI forum.
