Online Surveys?

I was wondering if anybody has ever tried online surveys to make money? Im quite skeptical that you can make what they promise but was wondering if they do actually make money at all. Here's an example of one I was looking at, but the disclaimer basically guarantees that they are not responsible if you lose money doing it...so its probably a scam. http://www.instantpaidsurveys.com/?hop=secure128

I've taken a few from http://www.webperspectives.ca, mostly just to kill time at work (ironically, working for another market research company. But I don't tell them that on the survey, otherwise they won't continue the survey).

Most of the time, it's just something like "you're entered in a monthly draw for $1000!". I did take a survey from them that offered $5 paid over Paypal for completing. It arrived a few weeks later.

Simarly, the company I work for mostly offers an entry into a monthly draw for completed surveys.

But the site you linked to? Looks unprofessional and reeks of fishyness and scamminess, if those are actual words.

I do some of this in my spare time.

I just deposited a $30 check today.

If it costs money to do it, its probably not on the up and up.

I 've doen a couple where they have actually sent money. What you have to do is read into the survey and think about what they want to hear, and what kind of people they could possibly be looking for, and then lie your way to the end of the survey.

Ive made about $100 over the last 3 years doing these for various pollsters...I do it for the fun, there is no money in it.
