Steve Staios celebrates
The Pittsburgh Penguins aquired a defensive blueliner to compliment offensive minded Andre Markov on the second pairing. Steve Staios will be arriving in the Steel city along with young forward Radim Vrbata and defensive prospect David Fisher. Heading out of town are young studs Mikko Koivu and Tim Gleason along with veteran sniper Owen Nolan and a 3rd round pick. The Pens are hoping that Staios will be a major contributor to the penalty kill and play big minutes on the 2nd line.
