Allison signs a new two year deal with the Thrashers

Atlanta, Georgia -- Sep. 23, 2004 -- General Manager, Dylan Miles of the Thrashers organization and Jason Allison's agent, Greg at Money Inc. have come to an agreement on a new 2 year, $4.3M deal with the Atlanta Thrashers.
Allison was in the last year of a 3 year contract. This new deal will replace the remaining contract.
The Thrashers would like to continue their long lasting relationship with Jason Allison, who is the only current Thrasher that was from our original roster from day 1 of the CPHL.
We received some good news last week, when Allison was cleared by the CPHL doctors and deemed fit to play.
While we understand he will not have the same impact as the Allison of a few years ago, we still think he can be an important factor in our quest for the cup.
