okay folks what do you think? 2 trades... worst trade this year, and ever.

This year is easy I think... Thorntons trade to the Sharks.

worst trade ever.. I also think is easy but others may disagree. Lindros' trade to the Flyers from Quebec may be the worst trade in the history of the NHL. Lindros, while often putting up a lot of points, never became the star he was supposed to. On the other hand... JUST Peter Forsberg, nevermind the 3 or 4 other players involved, was far greater than Eric ever was or will be. Straight up, no one would ever take Lindros for Forsberg in each others prime.

The deal basically built the Avalanche/Nordique.... and essentially gave the Flyers nothing in terms of playoff success.
