I would try rent a wreck in calgary, I use to own one of the franchises. its a good deal and the vehicle are in great shape.

sorry, no we got all the passangers we needed.
We already talked to rent a wreck, but the km thing with them is going to kill us...
We're driving down to Pullman, Washington (a 10 hour drive) and back, so I'd prefer unlimited km.
Can you negotiate with rent a wreck much?

Also check where you are allowed to take the van. We looked into something similar for a trip to a Seahawks game and found that vehicles rented in Alberta typically were restricted to just Alberta, and sometimes Montana.

I can only say that we did negotiate those kinds of trips with our clients.
It never hurts to ask, IMHO.
