Blues 3 Flames 2

Sorry for the lack of game stories on the weekend, was away and needed my laptop for watching the game. Took a pass.

Getting closer to pulling the plug on day to day games anyway.

- Flames give up three early goals
- Battle back to make it interesting
- Coronato finally gets off the snide

Current 8th place team pace - 92 points.

Flames need a 106 point pace (.648) to get to 93 or 41-22-1.

VGS is 7-4-4 for a .600 pace so, by winning percentage, the current 8th place team is at .594 or a 97 pt pace.

That would mean the Flames need to play at a .680 pace or 111 pts

The Flames pushed hard in the third and looked dominant. But man, did St. Louis ever look listless. Not skating and not much compete on loose pucks either.

I'm not certain we need to be calculating what point percentage Calgary needs to play at to reach 97 points.

I don't know ... there were a few worried when they beat Philly and Columbus back to back that the team would change direction.

Keep driving spikes.

I read your game takes religiously, but I can understand how writing about a losing team can be wearing.
