This has been specially designed for supported ultra-wideangle lenses and comes assembled with two filter slots and a Lightshield. The shield enables use of both the Little and Big Stopper.

Landscape photographers have long understood the benefits of ultra-wideangle lenses, but their design constraints made the use of filters virtually impossible. Now, the SW150 Mark II filter holder opens up opportunities for the creative use of filters, without the need to be concerned about vignetting.

The design of the SW150 Mark II has been adapted from its predecessor and is now not only compatible with LEE’s range of Neutral Density Graduated and Standard filters, but also the Polariser and Little and Big Stoppers.

Lens Compatibility:
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED
Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC
Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 II DG HSM
Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 PRO FX
Pentax HD D FA 15-30 f2.8
SW150 System

The most important part of the SW150 system is the adaptor ring. This will allow the filter holder to be attached to your lens. Each adaptor ring in the range has a slight design variation, so make sure you purchase the correct version for your lens.

In addition to the adaptor ring, you will also require a filter holder. Once the adaptor ring is attached to your lens, the filter holder simply locks on, the filters are slotted in, and your system is ready to use. The filter holder comes assembled with two slots, allowing you to combine filters where necessary. Once attached, the filter holder can be rotated. This means that filters such as neutral-density grads can be used at an angle, for precise control.LEE Filters SW150 Big Stopper

This 150 x 150mm SW150 Big Stopper ND Filter from LEE Filters is an ND filter with a 1,000x filter factor that provides a 10 stop exposure reduction. Its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

This SW150 Big Stopper neutral density filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity and features a built-in gasket. This gasket works with a compatible LEE Filters SW150-series filter holder with an integrated or add-on Lightshield to help form a seal that is intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between the filter and the lens behind it. For efficient use in the field, an exposure guide is included that shows the amount of exposure reduction the SW150 Big Stopper Neutral Density 3.0 Filter provides, corresponding to a range of shutter speed settings from 1/1,000th of a second to 2 seconds before the filter is applied.

3.0 neutral density filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required.

Features
Helping to balance your exposure when working in high-contrast situations, the 150 x 170mm Medium Graduated ND Filter from LEE Filters is specifically designed to selectively control brightness in difficult lighting. The filter's design places the 0.9, 3-stop density at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear by the center of the filter for a gradual, natural appearance. The medium-edge transition between the density and clear areas is well-suited for photographing scenes with an apparent but not rigid horizon line, such as when mountains or trees protrude into the sky. This filter is constructed from optical resin that is both durable and helps to maintain high clarity, and is compatible with the LEE SW150 filter holder.

Graduated neutral density places the most density at the edge of the filter and tapers to clear by the center of the filter in order to accommodate photographing scenes with large bright areas, such as a daytime sky.
Medium-edge transition between density and clear portions of the filter is suitable for photographing scenes with an apparent, but indistinct horizon or line between light and shadow, such as when rooftops, mountains, or trees protrude into the sky.
Neutral density 0.9 provides a 3-stop reduction in light in selective areas.
Constructed from optical resin for overall clarity and durability.
Compatible for use with the LEE SW150 filter holder.
Included filter pouch protects the filter when not in use.
