Look at regular season stats - Bennett's aren't special. Yes, he had a great PO, but his Conn Smythe could as easily been won by 3 other guys. There's past Conn Smythe winners who are not elite guys. Bennett is more like Butch Goring or Bill Ranford or Brad Richards or Claude Lemeiux.

And Reinhart was a great defenceman who they used as a winger sometimes because he was such a great skater. He's a guy who I could see playing today, as opposed to some from the 80s.

Reinhart was a really good player and even a better person, my uncle sold him the tail from a b25 bomber for his 3 Cheers bar which I helped hang, afterwards he always let me hang out and party afterhours. good times!

I've mentioned before, two of Reinhart's kids being Oiler black marks is a bonus. Sam beat them and Griffin made them look dumb.
