Powerplay Quarterback
Interesting number, bit of a show me 1 year contract but also a bit of rewarding how hot he was towards the end of the year?
We'll see which version of Kuzy they get!

I thought dude was done in the NHL. Hopefully he can sustain a full season and get a long-term contract. I remain a fan of Kuzy.

The guy keeps coming back to life. Is there any way he can sustain it?

Never give him a contract longer than 1 year?

Don't understand why he didn't test free agency if all he was offered was a one year deal. I guess he's banking on a big year and a big payday next season.

I have no idea if that is a good number or not, but the term seems right to me. Hopefully he finds more consistency from year-to-year.

Yup, big fan of Kuz. Glad to see him stay in the league. Hoping he finds success there and gets a longer term extension!

You’d think. But he started his contract year in Calgary playing awful. Needed two trades to come to life.

Good for him. I liked him but man does he have to find some consistency.
Overall not a bad contract for either side.

Maybe LA said take or we give it to someone else
With his history, there is no guarantee someone would give him a multi years and he may end up in Russia

Also it's clear that he needs a certain situation to succeed. He found a fit, at least temporarily, in LA so if I were him I would prioritize going back there too.
